Halo Burger & the Flint Institute of Arts Team Up to Inspire Young Artists in Flint
Calling all artists! Halo Burger proudly presents the Flint Institute of Arts Youth Membership Program, a program designed to inspire kids to learn about and create art. In this hands-on course, kids will be assigned an animal they will learn about through exhibits within the museum and in-turn, create art inspired by that animal. Plus, kid’s will keep their stuffed animal they are assigned!
Marissa Pierce, Public & Community Relations Coordinator at the Flint Institute of Arts stated, “We are excited to partner with a local institution like Halo Burger on the FIA’s Youth Membership. It is a fun opportunity for children to learn about art and become inspired.”
Halo Burger will be collecting donations to go toward the Youth Membership program, and other programs presented by the FIA at all restaurants throughout the month of August and September. Guests can add a donation of an amount of their choice at checkout or round up to the nearest dollar.
For families interested in the Youth Membership Program, registration is now open for children ages 2.5-12 years of age on the Flint Institute of Arts website or through the link below. The first class is in September so don’t delay!
Let us know if you sign up… and be sure to tag Halo Burger and the FIA in the art you’re inspired to create!
